BRIEF

Innovability organises some of the most advanced Tech conferences in Europe, including RoboBusiness, M2M Forum and Smart Mobility World. They asked us to design the scientific content of a new international forum on new technologies for Cultural Tourism, to be held during their Disruptive Week in Milan in April 2015.

OUR SOLUTION

Usually museums and technology conferences tend to showcase existing applications. Our idea was different. We chose not to show existing museum examples but to try to stimulate the birth of new ideas. We selected most speakers from the corporate world and put them in contact with cultural stakeholders, connecting two worlds which are often far away. Speakers from the most advanced fields of technology, like Robots, Drones, Internet of Things and Wearable offered their insights on a changing world. As a location, we chose an innovative mix of commercial venue and cultural center: the futuristic Mercedes-Benz Center in Milan, near the Expo Area.

SUCCESS

We filled up the conference room with companies, museum professionals and university researchers. Our post-event survey showed a very high appreciation for our innovative formula.
