Stefania has been a web manager and visual designer since 1997.
Before founding InvisibleStudio she worked as Senior Web Designer & Quality Assurance Leader for Nature Publishing Group on Nature.com websites, which won the prestigious Webby Award in 2008. She has also been in charge for the design of the award-winning Connotea.com, and for the information architecture and visual design of Nature Network London and Boston hubs.
Before moving to London, Stefania worked in Italy as Design Manager for the Science Centre Città della Scienza (Naples) and the National Science Museum Leonardo da Vinci (Milan). She also worked for some major companies such as Travelonline, eDreams and the online magazine La Cucina Italiana.
Her websites have been published on several web design books.

Giuliano started working on the Net at the University of Milan in 1994, with a thesis about the online conferencing system ‘The WELL’.
He worked two years for the WWF Italy, creating their first website, which attracted an ample press coverage as highly innovative and successful. After that he has been the Director of the Web Department at the National Museum of Science “Leonardo da Vinci” in Milan from 1997 to 2002, winning international awards and a mention on the New York Times for the collaborative 3D online environment “Virtual Leonardo”. After leaving the museum, he specialized as a web consultant for private companies, non-profit and cultural institutions like San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and Amnesty International, before founding InvisibleStudio with Stefania Boiano in 2007.
